KATE COLIN DESIGN IS A DESIGN STUDIO SPECIALISING IN THE FOLDED FORM.
Kate Colin is an award-winning Scottish paper artist based in Glasgow whose contemporary practice is focussed on the folded form. With over fourteen years experience of working with paper and origami, her range of work includes installations, fabric pleating, fan making, wall art and lighting through which she explores how light, colour and geometry interact.
She has worked with brands including Prada, Burberry and TOAST on projects and seasonal campaigns. She also regularly collaborates with private clients and interior designers to supply a variety of bespoke pieces.
She also regularly works with corporate event planners, agencies and design studios to create products for specific events or run workshops and demonstrations for clients.
